Konjac heart sponge rose is a natural facial and body cleansing sponge made out of vegetable fibres of Konjac root. The Konjac Sponge has been used in Japan first as a bath sponge for new-born babies for more than 100 years because of its soft texture.
Konjac Heart Sponge Rose Features
- Konjac Sponge has a unique propriety layer that can hold water very well.
- When the sponge is saturated with water, its surface is covered by a water layer.
- This water layer on the sponge’s surface constantly acts as a buffer to the skin and the layer forms a barrier between the sponge and the skin.
- As a result, the skin is never in direct contact with the fiber and it will not scratch and damage the skin even with hard scrubbing.
How to Use a Konjac Sponge:
- Prepare Your Sponge: Begin by soaking your konjac sponge in warm water for a few minutes. As it absorbs water, it will expand and become softer.
- Gentle Squeeze: Once your sponge is soft and pliable, give it a gentle squeeze to remove excess water. It should be damp but not dripping.
- Cleanse Your Face: Apply your favorite cleanser to the damp sponge, or you can use it without any cleanser for a natural cleanse. The konjac sponge works wonders to remove dirt, makeup, and impurities.
- Circular Motions: In gentle circular motions, massage your face with the konjac sponge. The soft texture provides a mild exfoliating effect, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
- Rinse and Hang: After cleansing, rinse your face thoroughly with water. Rinse the konjac sponge as well. Hang it by the attached string in a well-ventilated area to air dry.
- Repeat: For best results, use your konjac sponge daily as part of your skincare routine.
