To Make your own Essential Oil Diffuser Recipes
You will need
- Glass jar – preferably with a narrow top
- Reed sticks – approximately 10 reeds
- 100ml of Base Oil – We love fractionated coconut oil as it’s lightly scented and thinner than most oils. If the oils are too thick it will not travel up the reeds!
- 30 to 50 drops of essential oils
Mix the base oil and essential oils together, check you like the scent, tweak if you don’t! Add the reeds and you are all set. You can, of course, use one single oil, but mixing a few together can create amazing scents and benefits for you and your home.
If you are using an electric home diffuser then the amount of essential oils you add to the water tank is considerably reduced. Most manufacturers advise 8 -12 drops, however, if you are new to essential oils you might be better starting with 3-4 drops and work from there.
