What this means to us as a Business
By working with Ecologi we pay a monthly subscription to fund certified high-impact carbon avoidance projects all around the world, as well as funding tree planting that boosts local communities and biodiversity.
We are doing this as we believe it’s important to make Snooty Catz a Climate Action Workforce. We have a public profile at Ecologi where you can keep track of the Snooty Catz forest we are helping to plant. You can find it here – Snooty Catz Forest This will be updated once a month.
While tree planting is important, its benefits take years to have an effect. So, alongside our commitment to tree planting, we’re allocating a portion of every sale to support other projects, such as the restoration of UK Wildflowers, Wetlands, and Wildlife. By pooling our efforts, we can collectively make a significant difference. How wonderful is that!
To the end of March 2024 we have planted 16,556 Trees and funded 52 projects!
Together we have:
Avoided 186.34 tCO2e from being emitted through 50 verified carbon avoidance projects.
Removal of 1 tonne of CO2e from the atmosphere through afforestation in São Paulo, Brazil
Funded 11m² of habitat restoration for UK Wildflowers, Wetlands and Wildlife
Earth Day 2024 We Won Bronze
